Because of the nastiest sinus infection I've had in years, I had to scour the photo archives to find something suitable for the most recent painting challenge. I found several shots of these three creamers I purchased at a local flea market slash antique shop slash junk fair. I wasn't thrilled with the initial composition and that's probably why I hadn't chose them before to include as a challenge, but desperate times lead to...etc.
Several of the participants in the challenge chose to rearrange the creamers, and it made for some interesting work, probably much more fun than just copying what's there. Although as much as I say I want to get away from doing just that, I always end up doing the same.
I did decide to make the single picture into a triptych, though, which is quite reaching for me! So what if it was more of a choice of what canvas I had on hand? I like it! I've also changed the surface color today, I just couldn't wrap my head around that green I used last night (in the above photo). I think I might actually frame these little creamers and throw them in the kitchen somewhere.

I had a sinus infection over the weekend, did a lot of spinning and watched two seasons of The Tudors! I hope you're better! Love ya!
